University employees exchange expertise, bolster cooperation in 11th International Staff Training Week

Dr. Amir Khalil, the external academic relations officer at Birzeit University, along with Dr. Bassem Sayrafi, the director of admissions, took part in the 11thInternational Staff Training Week, held at the University of Granada, Spain, from 7 to 11 May, 2018. 

Part of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility program, the five-day event featured over 30 talks and workshops that revolved around management praxis and policies, such as symposiums on research support services, international relations, general administration, and library and information services. 

Over 130 participants from more than 40 countries attended the International Staff Training Week, where they exchanged expertise and established channels of communication and cooperation. 

Khalil and Sayrafi, during their time at the University of Granada, focused on the international relations track, which included international credit mobility – International Dimension Key Action 107 –  international projects, management of EU funds, incoming admission procedures, and recognition processes for student exchange.
