The Palestine Techno Park signed an incubation agreement with four entrepreneurial startup projects on January 15, 2018. The projects, Yalla Ntosh, Serti, Security Based Biometric System for Car Microcontroller, and Automatic Tray Seeding Machine, were chosen in the second pitching stage – on December 4 – 5, 2018 –  after the passing the qualification stage.

The incubation agreements were part of the Creative Cluster Campus (CCC) Project, implemented by the Palestine Techno Park in cooperation with Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit – Birzeit University and funded by the Islamic Development Bank, and were managed by the United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) Deprived Families Economic Empowerment Programme (DEEP) and supervised by the Ministry of Social Affairs.

The Palestine Techno Park will provide financial and technical support for the selected projects, which include services such as business development, product development, and marketing. The Techno Park’s services also include expanding the business model of entrepreneurial ideas and projects to turn them into businesses with economic value.

Three such incubation agreements have been signed by the Palestine Techno Park with startup projects – BirHakaya, Wajbaat, and BedeTaxi – raising the number of total incubation agreements to seven, each signed with a startup that has its own unique entrepreneurial idea that will benefit Palestinian society and has economic potential.
