"Flash Mob" marks Land Day
A "Flash Mob", a large public gathering, was organized in Birzeit University to commemorate the "Land Day" on the 30th March, 2017.
To mark the day, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Birzeit University and the Higher Council for Youth and Sports-Palestine organized folkloric and cultural performances to remind students of this day's history and events.
Land Day is marked every year on March 30, commemorating the events of March 1976 and the confiscation by Israel of thousands of dunums owned by Palestinians living in historic Palestine, during which Palestinians were killed and wounded.
