خالد أباظة
خالد أباظة
حصل د. اباظه على درجة الدكتوراه في تخصص هندسة المواصلات من جامعة توليدو بولاية اهايو الامريكية في العام 1990، ومن ثم عمل كمهندس مواصلات مع وزراة المواصلات التابعة لولاية كاليفورنيا، وحصل على رخصة مزاولة المهنة من نفس الولاية في العام 1994 الى أن التحق بجامعة بيرزيت في العام 1997 كعضو هيئة اكاديمية. وبالاضافة الى عمله في التدريس فقد ساهم د. اباظه في خدمة الجامعة من خلال عمله في العديد من اللجان على مستوى الكلية والجامعة، ورئاسته لدائرة الهندسة المدنية لسبع سنوات ومن ثم تعيينه عميدا لكلية الهندسة والتكنولوجيا في العام 2014. لقد كان لدكتور اباظه نشاطا بحثيا واضحا حيث نشر عدة ابحاث في مجلات علمية مرموقة ذات صلة بتخصصه الدقيق "هندسة الرصفات" مكنته من الترقيتة الى رتبة استاذ مشارك في العام 2003 ومن ثم الى رتبة استاذ في العام 2008، ولا يزال د. اباظه يتابع نشاطه البحثي حيث تمكن مؤخرا من نشر عدة ابحاث في مجلات عالمية متخصصة
