وذلك ضمن حملة تشجيع وترويج الاستخدام الواسع للتكنولوجيا الح
ديثة في حفظ وتوثيق التراث.
ستعقد الورشة يومي الأربعاء والخميس 16-17 نيسان2014، في قاعة مختبر الواقع الافتراضي في مبنى عمر العقاد للهندسة.

عن الورشة:
تهدف هذه التجربة إلى اختبار مدى نجاعة أساليب عرض الواقع
الافتراضي ثلاثية الأبعاد كوسيلة لإثراء فهم البعد التاريخي للموروث الثقافي و
المواقع الأثرية لمجموعات المستخدمين المختلفة.
لهذا ندعوكم للمشاركة في مج
موعات العمل ضمن هذه التجربة حيث سيتم تقديم عرضين عن قصر هشام. يستخدم العرض
الأول الوسائل التقليدية كالصور والخرائط والرسومات بينما يستخدم الثاني أسالي
ب عرض الواقع الافتراضي )ثلاثية الأبعاد(. بعد حضور العرضين سيقوم الحضور بتعب
ئة استبيان قصير عن تجربتهم.
مدة المشاركة الكاملة (العروض + تعبئة الاستبيا
نات): ٦٠-٩٠ دقيقة.

HyperHeritage Project
Digital Media for Heritage Preservation and Animation

As part of a campaign to encourage and promote the widespread use of mo
dern technology in the preservation and documentation of Palestinian herita
ge.

Workshop will be held at 16-17/4/2014, in VR Lab hall / Birzeit U
niversity.

About the Workshop:

Main aim is to test whether 3D VR basedvisualizations can be used as a tool to enhance level of understanding of
the historical dimension of cultural heritage and archeological sites amongcommunity groups.

For this reason we invite you to be part of the workgroups that will simply watch two presentations on the subject of Hisham’sPalace. One presentation will use analogue methods (images, maps, drawin
gs) while the other will utilize Virtual Reality 3D technology. Upon engagi
ng in the two presentations, you will be asked to fill a very short questi
onnaire.

Total time of participation (presentations and questionnaires
): 60-90 minutes.
