The Office of the Comptroller was established in 2001 and is under
the authority of the President. The Comptroller's Office supports and promotes
the University's mission by providing financial leadership and innovation in
business strategy and processes. Basically, it monitors central accounting and
purchasing, as well as internal financial and administrative auditing.
Moreover, the Office is responsible for all asset management
(property inventory issues) and financial management systems in compliance with
generally accepted auditing standards.
We keep all contracts and agreements (excluding the ones
related to the Engineering Office), and follow up on insurance policies of the
University.
