Computer Center

Overview
Welcome to the Birzeit University Computer Center. While this section of the website introduces BZU's community to the Computer Center's staff, services, achievements, and help resources, the site will be developed further in the future. The site will become dynamically active to receive on-line support requests, process on-line user applications, post updates on system maintenance, and provide an immediate response for virus alerts and fixes.

The Computer Center is housed in the administration building at the BZU campus, where user support, application support, network administration, and system development takes place. Currently, eleven staff members, all with at least a Bachelor degree in computer related fields, work together to take Birzeit University's administration and user services to a whole new level of professionalism. The Center provides services daily from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm except weekends (Fridays & Sundays) and holidays, though some services are available until late hours.

To know more about the Center's services, please visit the Services page.

Through the Computer Center's support services, BZU users can get a network account, Ritaj -Academic Portal- account, post a web site, and get the Application Forms processed, such as: (Purchase/Upgrade Application Form, and Network Account Application Form). Please be advised that some services are limited to BZU employees and faculty members only. To report an urgent technical problem or if you have any question, please contact the help desk at tel: (02) 298-2012 or write to: HelpDesk@birzeit.edu.
