The Academic Affairs Office at BZU held a meeting on 1 December 2009 with the Cultural Affairs Specialist for Exchanges, Ms. Maureen Marroom and the Communications Officer at  the Public Relations Office at the U.S. Consulate,  Ma'ath Musleh,  to introduce to BZU faculty members and students the different cultural exchange programs offered by the Consulate.

Ms. Marroom explained that this meeting comes within the series of meetings held by the Consulate to introduce the study programs and how to benefit from them and gain experience from cultural and academic exchange, as well as to acquaint the academic society with the American educational system and create a network of relationships.

She reviewed the programs offered and the mechanism for applications, while Mr. Musleh focused on the social and electronic media, which has become an important part of the exchange of ideas system , in addition to facilitating communications.
