Office of the President
The University is administered by the President of the University, who is assisted by the University Council, which is composed of the Vice-Presidents and the Deans. Besides the drafting of the budget and the development plans, the University Council has the overall responsibilities of the organizational management of the University.
The University has four Vice-Presidents: a Vice-President for Academic Affairs, a Vice-President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, a Vice-President for Community Outreach, and a Vice President, Planning, & Development. Each Faculty is headed by a Dean who is responsible for its administration. Faculties consist of a number of degree-granting departments and supporting programs; departments are headed by Chairpersons and programs are headed by Coordinators.
Formulation of the general policies, rules and regulations pertaining to academic affairs is the responsibility of the Academic Council, which is composed of the Vice-President for Academic Affairs, the Deans and elected faculty members.
