BZU External Academic Relations Organizes Training of Trainers on Mobility Projects

The BZU External Academic Relations Office organized a two-day Training of Trainers workshop on mobility projects on August 3-4, 2015. The training comes within the framework of the MEDMOBIL project, an ENPI CBC MED funded project that aims at creating a framework for the facilitation of mobility and exchange of youth in the Mediterranean area. The training was led by the expert on mobility, Mr. Juan Guerrero, from the Chamber of Commerce in Seville, Spain, the lead coordinator of the project. It was attended by Mr. Pablo Morales, the Head Coordinator of International Projects at the Chamber of Commerce in Seville. The training aimed at building the capacity of the participants in running mobility projects that incorporate different kinds of mobility actions like the mobility of students, professors and researchers, professionals and entrepreneurs, and volunteers. In the first session, the participants were introduced to the MEDMOBIL project and basic concepts of mobility. In the second session they were guided into developing their own mobility project proposals building on the MEDMOBIL model.

The participants in the training were of diverse backgrounds. They mostly comprised faculty members and administrative staff from BZU, and faculty members and students from Spain and Italy. This diversity enriched the training and compounded its effect. The participants will receive certificates of participation.
