A delegation from Birzeit University met with university alumni at the Grand Millennium Hotel in the UAE on March 22, 2013. The meeting was attended by BZU graduates working in the UAE and the university delegation, chaired by President Khalil Hindi.

 

 

 

Hindi welcomed the graduates, expressing his pride of the university’s alumni in all parts of the world, and emphasizing the university's keenness to develop and strengthen its relations with its graduates, wherever they may be.

The meeting was characterized by eagerness from the BZU visitors and the alumni to stay in touch and continue a constructive discussion on how the alum might contribute to their university. Following the meeting, a UAE alumni forum was formed to maintain a sustainable relationship between the university and its alumni.

The meeting was part of efforts being undertaken by the Alumni Unit at the BZU Advancement Office.
