BZU Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation

The BZU President, Dr. Nabeel Kassis and the Consul General of Spain in Jerusalem, Ambassador Ramon Ansoa'in, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 20 October 2008. The MoU aims at supporting Spanish studies-language, culture an

d literature - at BZU, where the Directorate General for Cultural and Scientific Relations at the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation will propose a candidate to the post instructor/assistant at the Department of Languages and Translation - BZU.

The MoU stipulates that BZU may recognize the Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language and will facilitate the carrying out of the exams required for this Diploma. It is expected to contribute to the institutional and academic development and consolidation of Spanish studies at BZU.

The MoU is valid for an initial minimum cycle of three years to a maximum of three cycles equivalent to nine academic years.
