Information Technology

In an age of rapidly evolving technological advances, the shortage of suitable information technology applications and tools limits the University's ability to meet its goal of providing students with training comparable with universities abroad.  Both faculty and students are increasingly in need of access to information regarding the developments taking place in the various areas of study.  Birzeit University is continuously working to develop its capacity to meet the needs of the University community.  

Support to the Information Technology Fund will enable Birzeit University to:

• Upgrade existing facilities and improve infrastructural support
• Establish new computer labs to meet the expanding needs of the University community
• Support the development of "Ritaj", the University's on-line portal
• Build capacity of University faculty, staff and student to optimally utilize information technology resources.
