Note: Students may substitute one of the above mentioned seminar courses with one elective course from the program after the approval of the Program Council. This procedure is applicable to students admitted to the program starting in 2008/2009.
  1. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in physics from a university recognized by Birzeit University. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in a closely related field, such as electronic engineering, electrical engineering, or mathematics minors in physics, with a “Good” average or above may also be admitted to the program. 
  2. Fulfilling the admission requirements mentioned in the Academic Regulations for the Master’s Degree.
  3. A personal interview, if required by the Program Committee
