VLSI Lab

The VLSI Lab integrates cutting-edge research activities across the BZU Engineering and Technology Faculty and helps forge solid connections with local and regional microchip design and verification industry.

The VLSI Lab will equip students and graduates with the skill set to be marketable at high tech companies for design and verification engineering positions.  The lab aims to grow into a hub where companies seek resources to assist in their own projects, get more sponsors, and provide training for more qualified students.

The lab enables highly talented young professionals to gain state-of-the-art knowledge and hands-on training on cutting-edge design and verification technologies and methodologies. Trainees completing the program can easily enter into the VLSI industry with the highly marketable skill sets that they attained at the lab.

The lab also aims to connect students, faculty, and the industry to conduct and publish high-end research in advanced engineering topics in the areas of architecture, logic, circuit and physical design, with emphasis on CAD, to arrive at state-of-the-art applications in advanced manufacturing process technologies.
