- New students will sit for English placement exam to identify their entry level in English language proficiency.
- Students who score level C will be registered in English writing skills course ENGL233.
- Students who score levels C or B2 will be exempted from 4 cr.hrs of courses in English communication.
- Level A1courses are preparatory and as such are non-credit hours.
- The online component is considered as non-credit hours but in terms of student load and effort it is evaluated as 1 credit hour.
- Students who score in one of the basic and intermediate level will require to study the courses listed in the table below.
- Student with basic entry (level A0/A1 and A2) are expected to leave with upper intermediate level (B2), while students with intermediate levels (B1 and B2) and expected to leave with advanced level (C).
