Workshop Addresses Perspectives on Gender and Sexuality

The Faculty of Law and Public Administration concluded on December 7, 2016 a training workshop on human sexuality and the role of families, in cooperation with The Arab Forum for Sexuality, Education and Health. The workshop targeted students from the political science, law and public administration departments.

The three-week workshop, facilitated by Educational consultant Afnan Thiab, provided education in human sexuality shedding light to its role in creating sustained human development through constructive and open dialogue on the issues of gender and sexuality.

The Dean of the Faculty of Law and Public Administration Yasser Amouri stressed on the importance of highlighting such controversial issues to raise awareness on sexual health challenges which will contribute to individual and family development.
