Two Students Honored for their creativity in arts

For excelling in creativity in arts, students from the Architectural Engineering Department Mohammad Al Hasni and Hussam Barham won the Yousef Nawas Award for Innovation; an annual award presented by Birzeit University.

Hasni has shown creativity in visual arts and painting, while Al Barham has excelled in composing music, playing on the violin and painting.

The University’s Council represented by its President Abdullatif Abuhijleh, the Vice President for Academic Affairs Henry Giacaman, and the Assistant V.P for Academic Affairs of Bachelor Program Mazen Hamed presented plaques and cash prizes for students.

President Abuhijleh saluted the students’ achievements. “We’re delighted to have these bright and imaginative students in our campus and to help develop their creative talents through a broad liberal education”.  He reaffirmed the university’s mission to support innovators and creative students through offering a number of awards for excellence and creativity.
