Students gain ‘Skills by Google’ in public administration workshop

Public administration students at Birzeit University learned digital marketing and developed their digital skills in a workshop given by Ibrahim Al Disi, a skills coach and a financial consultant, on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.

The three-hour workshop, entitled “Skills by Google,” aimed to bridge the gap between the skills the students have and the ones required by the labor market by introducing them to digital concepts such as e-commerce and training them on skills like digital marketing on search engines, social media platforms, and video-hosting websites.

This lecture is the latest effort by the Department of Public Administration to build bridges and establish channels of communication between students and decision-makers and experts, giving students the space to explore topics with relevant specialists and authorities.
