Physics student participate in German spring school on topological insulators

Maha Zuod, a master student of physics at Birzeit University, participated in a Juelich Spring School on Topological Insulators, skyrmions and Majoranas at Forschungszentrum Juelich Center, Germany.

The school aimed to attract young scientists and graduate students. The schooled offered a variety of lectures on different topics in physics like particle, solid and quantum physics. There was around 250 participant.

Forschungszentrum Juelich Center is a research to provide comprehensive solutions to the grand challenges facing society in the fields of energy and environment, information and brain research. Our aim is to lay the foundation for the key technologies of tomorrow.
