The teams discussed ten chapters of the proposed policy, which included general news reporting and press release publishing principles, as well as 12 ethical publishing standards regarding business journalism, consumer rights, and journalism duties as they pertain to the Palestinian national economy.

The teams also reviewed gender reporting standards and based their discussions on a paper, published by the Media Development Center and shared with local media agencies and organizations, that argues for raising awareness on women’s issues and attracting more women into the workforce.
