While technology integration has long been a key area of concern in education, the intersection of technology with our rapidly transforming educational landscape is framing the nature of technology in education in profound, new ways. Collaborative teaching and effective connections between students and faculty are health phenomena for exchanging of ideas in a setting defined by mutual respect and a shared interest in topics.

A team of three students from the Computer Science Department, developed a social educational website that aims to connect students, teachers and university staff together. HATsociety, offers services that are available on social media networks such as chat, pages and groups features. Some of its features are built to serve educational purposes.

The project, developed by Hadeel Musleh, Amneh Salameh, and Tasneem Barghouthi, was applied at Birzeit University and its’ developers look forward to making it a social connector among other Palestinian universities.
