Institute of International Studies Releases New Book on Palestinian Refugees

The Ibrahim Abu Lughod Institute of International Studies at Birzeit University has released a new book titled “Refugees in Their Homeland: The Question of Representation and Protection.”

The book, which details the realities of the 1948-occupation refugees living in Palestine, is the result of a year-long research effort underpinned by the cooperation of institute researchers with Palestinian refugees and refugee camp institutes as a part of the “Political Representation Enhancement of the Palestinian Refugees in the West Bank and Gaza Refugee Camps”  project.

The book was published under the supervision of Dr. Abedelkarim Barghouti, and the research efforts were made possible through the support of The Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law Secretariat.
