Information session introduces academic exchanges in Europe

Birzeit University’s External Academic Relations Office and the National Erasmus+ Office held an information session introducing the upcoming international mobility programs that Erasmus+ offers for bachelors and masters students.

The Director of the Erasmus+ National Office, Nedal Jayousi, began the session introducing the students to the programs offered by Erasmus+. He explained that the program is a great chance for students to experience new cultures and a unique learning environment.

The director of the External Academic Relations Office, Amir Khali, and board member of the Higher Council for Innovation and Excellence, Dr. Ahmad Abu Hanieh, outlined some tips and tricks that an applicant must employ in order to win a scholarship. 

Birzeit University Erasmus+ alumni also attended  the information session to share their experiences with the audience and provide tips and helpful advice.

A Q&A session followed the alumni speeches, and speakers fielded participants’ questions on the application process; available fields of study and courses offered; and partner universities enrolled in the program, among other topics. Dr. Khalil ended the session with a remark to future Erasmus+ students, saying, “You are ambassadors of your university and of your country”.
