Dr. Hanna Nasir awarded medal of honor for contributions to Palestine

The medal was granted by President Abbas in a ceremony in Ramallah

President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas conferred upon Chairperson of Birzeit University’s Board of Trustees Dr. Hanna Nasir a medal of honor of the highest order on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at the Mukataa, the Palestinian seat of government in Ramallah.

Dr. Nasir, who attended the ceremony along with his wife, Ms. Tania Nasir, was awarded the medal in recognition of his role in supporting the Palestinian community and defending Palestine’s land, people, and cause.
