BZU welcomes visiting professors as part of building international networks

As part of the Erasmus+ Program, professors from the University of Ruse- Bulgaria and Mary Immaculate College (MIC), and the University of Limerick in Ireland visited Birzeit University at the beginning of the new academic year 2017/2018.

Professors Diyana Dimitrova Kinaneva and Gerogi Valentinov Hristov from the University Of Ruse- Bulgaria for 1-week staff mobility for teaching with the Erasmus+ Program for 2016/2017. The two professors taught at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department delivered various lectures demonstrations and tutorials to students and staff at the department.

Dr. Elaine Murtagh from the Mary Immaculate College prepared with the Director of Community and Public Health Niveen Abu- Rmeileh a working plan for two years which includes a visit of two faculty members from Birzeit University to the MIC in Ireland.

The professors also met with the Director of the External Academic Relations Office and discusses prospects of fostering further cooperation between the universities.
