BZU Welcomes New PAS Students

On 23 August 2012, Birzeit University received the newest cohort of students at the Palestinian and Arab Studies Program (PAS)–an academic program that offers international students
the opportunity to combine study of the Arabic language with social science
courses about Palestine and the Arab World.

Over 70 students from diverse countries are
enrolled in the PAS Program this semester, which began on 28 August
2012. These students
have already toured the BZU campus to become
acquainted with its faculties, facilities, institutes and centers.

PAS
Director, Dr. Ahmed Azim, met with and briefed the new students on the
specialized courses offered in Arabic.
