Birzeit University receives a delegation from 4-Elements in Greece
In cooperation with the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and within an Erasmus Plus project funded by the European Union, a delegation from 4-Elements organization visited Birzeit University and met with the Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Henry Giacaman.
The aim of the visit was to carry out a base-line national study on teaching and evaluation practices in large-scale 1st year courses at the Palestinian universities. During the visit, the 4-Elements delegation conducted interviews with faculty members and students attending those courses as well as the unit of quality assurance at Birzeit University.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Hasan Abdelkarim, Dean of Faculty of Education, Dr. Ahmad Aljanazrah, Project coordinator, Mr. Nabeel Dabdoob from the office of Vice President for Planning and Development and Dr. Mousa Alkhaldi from the Faculty of Education.
This project is leaded by An-Najah National University in partnership with Birzeit and other Palestinian and European universities and this visit comes within the frame of the ongoing and continuous efforts of Birzeit University in cooperation with the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the other Palestinian universities to enhance the quality of higher education in Palestine.
