Admissions introduces Bethlehem high schoolers to Birzeit university

Representatives from Birzeit University’s Registration and Admissions Department took part in a guidance session for high school (Injaz) students in the Bethlehem governorate on February 28, 2018.

The session was organized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in cooperation with Palestinian higher education institutions, on Bethlehem University’s campus.

The session aimed to introduce prospective college students to the available majors in Palestinian educational institutions and assist them in choosing suitable majors and universities according to their interests and job market needs.

Birzeit University representatives introduced students to the majors offered at the university, explained the admission process, and answered various student questions.

Students were also briefed on the Contemporary Visual Art Program and the Leadership and Active Citizenship Program – Masari. A three-year interactive learning program developed by Birzeit University and aimed at first-year students, Masari develops students’ life skills and entrepreneurial spirit through six learning stations: Personal Competencies, Career Path, Debating, Citizenship, and Social Entrepreneurship 1 and 2.
