Assistant professor, seasoned criminal justice specialist with nearly twenty years of experience in training, projects management, providing expert advice and assistance on legislative drafting and administrative reforms relating to criminal law and criminal procedure, police procedure, judicial independence, and prosecutorial systems. Formerly served as Station Chief and Criminal Investigator for the Palestinian Civil Police. In several other capacities, has led research teams and authored numerous studies and manuals on the Palestinian criminal justice system, criminal procedures for prosecutors and police officers, the juvenile justice system, and judicial education programs, among others. Possesses PhD in criminal law, criminal justice, and criminology from Albert Ludwigs University in Germany, LLM from Birzeit University in Palestine, and BA from Jordanian University in Jordan. Fluent in Arabic, German, and English.
