After eight years of teaching math and science in Palestinian public schools (1990-1998), I pursed my Bachelor degree in Physics at Birzeit University. I served as teaching and research assistant in the Physics Department for four years. Meanwhile, I completed my Master degree in science education from Birzeit University. With Ford Foundation generous support, I pursed my Ph.D. in Michigan State University in Curriculum and Teaching with focus on science education (2004-2008). Since my graduation from MSU, I returned back to Birzeit University and nowadays I am serving as the Faculty of Education Dean.
