Dr. Ahmad Jamil Azem, the Director of the MA Program of International Studies, in Ibrahim Abu Lughd Institute, in Birzeit University.  Member of the Board if Director of the PLO Research Centre. He was senior fellow in the Asian and Middle Eastern Studies in Cambridge University in UK. He worked for ten years in the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research in Abu Dhabi  as a senior editor and  researcher.

He authored and coauthored research and books, namely on Conflict Management theory and practices, and on the Palestinian Question. He writes column publishes in both al Ghad Newspaper in Jordan  and Al Quds in Palestine.
