Dissemination Workshop: The Status of Youth in the Occupied Palestinian Territory
The Institute of Community and Public Health at Birzeit University will conduct a dissemination workshop where the results from a study on the Status of Youth in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (oPt), conducted in partnership with Oxfam Quebec, will be presented. The event will begin with a presentation of the results of the study focusing on wellbeing and attitudes towards gender equality among Palestinian youth in the oPt. The workshop will take plan on 6/March/2018 in the conference hall (room 104), Said Khoury Building for Development Studies, Birzeit University from 10:30 am until 3:00 pm.
The first part of the event will consist of a presentation of the study findings and discussion with the audience from 10:30 am-12:30 pm. (A light lunch will be offered between 12:30 and 1pm)
The second part of the event will consist of a workshop with different stakeholders (youth, institutions, and policy makers) in order to develop and discuss policy recommendations and programming that aim to improve the status of youth in the opt. This will take place between 1:00-3:00 pm.
