The phenomena of natural resources and their importance (environmentally and economically) as well as their relation to suitable development. Natural resources degradation, its types and causes in Palestine, its impact with regards to the concentration of land and water use, and its application in the Palestinian situation. Evaluation of natural resources (land and water use), the processes of determination for different uses, and methods (quantitative and qualitative) for monitoring natural resource degradation, especially in Palestine. The correlation of the natural resource use potential with past and future needs, the legislation for the conservation of the natural resources, and land use systems and their relation to agricultural systems, examples drawn from natural resource management and use in Palestine.
