WESC633 | WATER QUALITY

Natural, chemical, physical, and biological surface water constituents. Possible sources of surface water pollution. Air, rainfall, and soil quality; general review of water related diseases, control and reduction of these diseases by using sanitary engineering methods. In addition to that, this course include a set of chemical experiments about surface and ground water chemistry, measuring colours, acidic and basic, hardness of water, disinfection of water using chlorine, indication of organic and inorganic pollutants, use of advanced test methods for microbiological contaminants.
