This course covers basic clinical pharmacology, focusing on principles and concepts of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacotherapeutics. Pharmacotherapeutics is discussed as it relates to nursing process, routes and techniques of drug administration, patient education and the special needs of children, pregnant and lactating women, and older adults .
