One hour per week of individual instruction in the student’s major instrument. Skills and knowledge learned in theoretical classes are developed and applied in practice.Advanced techniques of playing the instrument; advanced repertoire including samai and longa forms in mainstream and unusual maqams and even and uneven meters; accompaniment of popular songs in forms such as Taqtouqa and monologue; simple improvisation and rhythmic and melodic ornaments in maqams such as rast and nahawand, and connecting them melodically.
