ENCE4341 | PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE AND PROJECTS MANAGEMENT

(for Architecture students)
Building legislations and regulations governing the professional practice, building and planning regulations, building codes, aspects of professional practice in architecture and their relation with other engineering practices, principals of planning the office and field work for various architectural projects, Palestinian standard code (FIDIC), tender documents and contracts, principles and methods of planning, network analysis techniques, critical path method and its implementation on monitoring and controlling of construction projects, time and cost estimations, financial planning, management of material, equipment and personnel, preparation of technical specifications for construction stages based on general and specific technical terms of references applied in Palestine, Preparation of specifications and quantities of a small-scale architectural project considering administrative and legislative aspects. (Lecture 3 hrs.).
