ENAR5421 | ADVANCED INTERIOR DESIGN

Contemporary issues related to the field of interior design, current trends and precedence studies that focus on interchangeable workplace and educational settings, special needs groups, human factors, and health and safety issues, a design studio concentrating on a complex project that requires programming analysis, analysis of existing conditions, circulation and spatial relationships, and the study of human behavior and functional needs with attention to life safety issues and building codes, environmental systems and controls, fabrication and installation of material and surface finishes, furniture selection and design, and lighting and sound systems. (Lecture 1 hr., Lab 9 hours.)
