DSGN246 | DESIGN STUDIO 4

(1 hour theory, 9 hours practical)
2 project briefs across semester, for development of prototypes, samples, based on research based methods utilizing a range of different resources both material and conceptual for development of ideas and execution of briefs in field of design, development of working and idea generating processes and learning to recognize opportunities in making and material processes. Introducing concepts related to the work/lived environment and anthropometry, Project briefs in two areas of design other than taken in DSGN243, On completion of Design Studio 4 and 5 students have exposure and experience of different fields of design in order to select field of specialization for course of study, Exposure to basic techniques in specialist workshop facilities and programs, Development of portfolio presentation skills, layout as well as oral viva presentations. Lectures will cover Themes in Design.
