(1 hour theory, 9 hours practical)
Introduction to fundamental principles of design and the design process; basic skills and methods to develop, generate, research and record ideas. Focus on basic drawing skills in areas of line and volume integrated with 3D construction and understanding of spatial relations. Learning how drawing functions as a research tool for documenting and generating ideas the working process and research utilizing sketchbooks. Lectures will cover theory in the field of history of Palestinian and Arab handicrafts .
