Plant-water relation including diffusion, osmosis, water potential, and transpiration, mineral nutrition and phloem transport, plant biochemistry including photosynthesis, respiration, nitrogen and phosphorus metabolism, plant growth and development including phytohormones, photomorphogenesis, and stress physiology, plant propagation particularly tissue culture (Lecture 3 hours).
