The Department of Public Administration at the Faculty of Law and Public Administration, Birzeit University, extends its best wishes, and has the honor to invite you to participate in the international scientific conference entitled:
"Sustainable Development under Conditions of Conflict and Crises" (wars, post- war, occupation and conflicts)
Date of the conference: 23 - 24 April 2019
Place: The Faculty of Law and Public Administration Birzeit University / Palestine.
Conference general theme: The conference attempts to bring together researchers, experts, students and administrators from different countries to discuss theoretical and practical issues in the field of public administration, public policies related to sustainable development, especially topics related to the implementation of the United Nations Development Goals 2030. The conference will also explore and emphasize on case studies and models that have existed under conditions of war, crises and occupation. The conference will help answer the main question: How can sustainable development be achieved in the context of wars and crises?
A scientific committee will evaluate the submitted papers. Accepted papers will be announced on January 15, 2019 to be presented in the conference. Distinguished papers will be published in a special publication for the conference. The conference also help distinguished papers for further development and to turn them into policy proposals that can be used by countries and communities living under similar conditions, in order to advance effective sustainable development models.
