The Birzeit University Palestinian Digital Archive, Ibrahim Abu-Lughod Institute of International Studies (BZUPA/IALIIS) – Birzeit University invites interested researchers to submit proposals for its annual conference, to be held March 24-25, 2014, dedicated to the following question:
Globalizing Palestine: Birzeit University’s Digital Archive in an International Perspective – Towards a Chaotic Order
Target Group:
- Faculty members at Birzeit University and other universities.
- Interested researchers.
- Practitioners in the field of archiving.
- Organizations working in the field.
Timetable:
- A 500-word abstract by November 30th, 2013.
- Decisions on acceptance by December 15th, 2013.
- Submission of the first draft (8000-10000 words), no later than February 20th, 2014.
- Submission of final paper, based on recommendations by the selection committee, March 20th, 2013.
