Analysis of epidemiological data using STATA and scientific writing

April 30 – May 2, 2018

The Institute of Community and Public Health (ICPH) in collaboration with the University of Oslo will hold a three-day training course on Analysis of Epidemiological Data Using STATA (Data Analysis and Statistical Software) and introduction to scientific writing on April 30th– May 2nd, 2018 from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. The training will be held at ICPH, Birzeit University, Said Khoury for Development Studies Building, 1st Floor, Computer Lab, Room 224. 

The course will be conducted in English, and will provide an introduction on how to write scientific papers and demonstrate different types of statistical tests using STATA. The course will target young researchers, master students and graduates. Participants are asked to bring their own laptops as they will receive a copy of the STATA software (Temporary license).

Course instructors are: Professor Espen Bjertness, Professor Hein Stigum, Post doc Cecilie Dahl and Post doc Marte Kjøllesdal from University of Oslo, and Dr. Niveen Abu Rmeileh from Birzeit University.

To register please fill the registration form no later than Monday April 14th, 2018. A confirmation email will be sent to those who are registered after registration is closed.

A registration fee of $50 is required for the course which you can pay at ICPH once you receive our registration confirmation letter.
