Introduction to various building construction systems, expansion, contraction and settlement joints, insulation materials (heat, noise, moisture, etc.), internal finishing materials, kitchens and bathrooms, fireplaces, techniques used for protection against environmental forces ( umbrellas, louvers, malkaf, etc.), introduction to precast architecture, focus through the practical application on increasing the understanding of presenting working drawings and details done by producing working drawings for a medium scale building with all of the symbols and architectural details. (Lecture 2hrs, Studio 3hrs).
