Riad Al Sadik

Eng. Al Sadik was born in Deir al-Assi in Palestine. The Israeli occupation of Palestine in 1948 led to the emigration of his family to Lebanon, where he completed high school at the American School, then called the Gerard Institute. He obtained a degree in civil engineering in 1964 from the American University of Beirut. Al Sadik heads the Board of Directors of the Al Habtour Leighton Group. He is owner and chairperson of the Construction Machinery Center and owner and chairperson of Grand Millennium Dubai. Al Sadik is on the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Palestine Studies and the American University in Sharjah, where he is head of the Resource Development Committee. He is Vice Chairperson of the Board of Governors of the Pearl Initiative.
