Dr. Omari is a member of the Administrative Committee of Board of Trustees. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in science from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) in Haifa and a PhD in mathematics from the University of Western Australia in 1981. She worked as a mathematics professor at Birzeit University between 1981 and 1993, when she had presided over the Mathematics Department (1984-1986). Dr. Omari then assumed the post of Director of Admissions and Registration Department for five years (1993-1998), before serving as Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs and acting Vice President for Community Outreach between 1998 and 2005.
