Erasmus+ representative in Palestine visits campus, follows up on projects

Nedal Jayousi, the Erasmus+ country representative and director of the national office in Palestine, visited Birzeit University and met with Vice President for Academic Affairs Khalid Swaileh to follow up on the implementation of Erasmus+-funded projects at the university.

Swaileh hailed Birzeit University’s full support of all EU Erasmus+ programs, hailing the cooperation as one of the most successful initiatives. The university, according to Swaileh, is committed to the success of each project funded by Erasmus+ and works in line with its laws and regulations. He expressed his enthusiasm about the progress the university has made through its implementation of the different Erasmus+ projects, praising Birzeit University’s activism, professionalism and organization in their implementation.

The meeting was attended by Amir Khalil, director of the External Academic Relations Office; Allan Tubaileh, dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology; Iyad Tumar, assistant to the vice president for academic affairs; and Yousef Hassouneh, a faculty member at the Department of Computer Science.
