Students exhibition on history of design, innovation in architecture

The Department of Architectural Engineering and the student club of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology successfully concluded a two-day exhibition on the history of architecture and design and innovative projects.

The first day was organized in cooperation with the club of design students at the Faculty of Art, Music and Design. The exhibition presented models of some of the world’s most famous historical sites, designed by the students under the supervision of Ibrahim Hindi, an instructor at the Department of Architectural Engineering. On the second day, architectural engineering students presented their innovative ideas in architecture through models they designed.

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Wasel Ghanem, Chair of the Department of Architectural Engineering Salem Thawabeh, and Program Director of Design Dima Yaser, who attended the exhibition’s opening, emphasized the importance of providing students with space for innovation and creativity to encourage them to create and develop their own entrepreneurial projects and models in an approach that merges reflection with application in design.
